SSPC collaborator and Bernal Chair receives Wales' highest academic honour

Professor Michael Zaworotko, based in the University of Limerick as Bernal Chair of crystal engineering, received the first award under the re-launched Science Foundation Ireland (SFI) Research Professor programme and SSPC collaborator, has been admitted to the Learned Society of Wales (LSW) in honour of his world-class contribution to science. Election to fellowship of the society is a public recognition of academic excellence and achievement and is the highest academic honour in Wales.
