Signed Irish women's rugby jersey finds a home at UL Sport

SSPC were named winners for Excellence in Education and Training at the HR Leadership & Management Awards 2017. As part of the event, the centre won a social media competition and a prize courtesy of Aon Ireland. The prize, a signed jersey of the Irish women's rugby squad, now takes pride of place at the University of Limerick UL Sport complex.

International students attend week long RACE seminar

This week sees a group of international students attend a week long face-to-face seminar as part of the structured PhD module STEM Communication and Engagement, a module that is part of the RACE project (RACE: RAw Communication & Engagement). The project is linked to work in the area of Raw materials and focused on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics).

SSPC appoint new directors Prof. Michael Zaworotko and Prof. Gavin Walker

A global hub of pharmaceutical process innovation and advanced manufacturing has appointed two University of Limerick professors as its co-directors. Synthesis and Solid State Pharmaceutical Centre (SSPC), the Science Foundation Ireland (SFI) funded centre hosted in the University of Limerick, has appointed Professor Michael Zaworotko and Professor Gavin Walker as co-directors of the organisation. The Centre is hosted at the University of Limerick and partnered with 9 research performing organisations, Trinity College Dublin, University College Cork, Dublin City University, NUI Galway, Waterford Institute of Technology, Athlone Institute of Technology, University College Dublin and National Institute for Bioprocessing Research and Training.
