After his PhD, Dr. René Steendam received a NWO Rubicon grant in 2015 for a two year fellowship on the continuous manufacture of chiral crystals at CMAC at the University of Strathclyde in the UK. He currently works as a research fellow in chemical engineering at UL in the group of Dr. Patrick Frawley. His research focuses on the synthesis and crystallization of pharmaceuticals.
