The SSPC would like to welcome Professor Mike Zaworotko as an international collaborator. Professor Zaworotko is one of the world's top 20 research chemists. Professor Zaworotko has secured the first award under the re-launched Science Foundation Ireland (SFI) Research Professor programme. A key objective of the programme is to attract iconic research leaders to Ireland.
A Horizon 2020 Opportunities: Townhall Meeting took place in UL on Friday 6th December to discuss Horizon 2020 opportunities in the first call of the new funding programme. The meeting, which took place at the Tierney Building, UL was attended by members of SSPC, NIBRT and PMTC and industry to maximise potential opportunities in the programme.
