Funded Investigator Molecule I
Biography
Joanna obtained a 1st class MChem Degree and D.Phil. from the University of Oxford, UK. From 2009 Joanna worked as a Post-Doctoral researcher with in the Department of Medicine, where she created novel activity based probes through selective protein modification. She returned to Chemistry Department in 2014 to work with Prof. Tom Brown to study of DNA cross-link repair enzymes.
In 2016, Joanna moved to Trinity College Dublin to take up the position of Schuler Assistant Professor in Translational Organic Chemistry where her research group focuses on site selective modification of proteins and DNA for activity based protein profiling. Joanna joined the SSPC in 2018 and will recruit a PhD student in 2020.
