Biography

Dr Martin McHugh is the SSPC Project and Public Engagement Officer. Formerly a postdoctoral researcher in the area of informal learning and part time lecturer in science education, he has degrees from NUI Galway and the University of Edinburgh in the areas environmental science and teaching. He is also a fully qualified secondary school science and biology teacher. Martin specialises in educational content development and delivery, publishing academic and lay articles, event management along with maximising SSPC community participation with Education and Public Engagement activities
