Dr Shalini Singh

Biography

Dr Shalini Singh is a lecturer in the Department of Chemical Sciences and the Bernal Institute at the University of Limerick, Ireland. She received her PhD in chemistry from the University of Limerick in 2016 and was then an FWO (Research Foundation, Flanders, Belgium) Postdoctoral Fellow at Ghent University, Belgium until 2019. From 2020, she is leading the ‘Functional Nanomaterial Research Group’ at the University of Limerick. Her research interest is focused on the development of novel colloidal inorganic nanocrystals with targeted functionality for energy and bio applications.
