SSPC’s Taylor-Jade Allen-Coyle on why she chose to research the area of pancreatic cancer

Taylor-Jade Allen-Coyle is a PhD researcher with SSPC at the National Institute for Cellular Biology (NICB) at DCU. She wrote a piece for RTE Brainstorm on the silent killer pancreatic cancer, simply called, the problem with pancreatic cancer.

Pancreatic cancer has one of the lowest survival rates of all cancers because diagnosis usually occurs at a late and untreatable stage. Read full article here.
